S&P 500® Engle 12% VT Index
The S&P 500® Engle 12% VT Index provides exposure to the S&P 500® while applying an intraday volatility control mechanism with a volatility target of 12%. The volatility control mechanism is based on an intraday, volatility forecasting, statistical model introduced by Professor Robert Engle, who was awarded the 2003 Nobel Prize in Economics for his research on the topic.1,2
Nasdaq-100 Agile 15% ™ Index
The Nasdaq-100 Agile 15%™Index is designed to provide exposure to the Nasdaq-100 Total Return Index® (XNDX) while targeting a specified level of volatility. The Index uses Nasdaq-100 Index (NDX) intraday values (the open, high, low, and close) to estimate volatility with the aim of capturing significant intraday swings that might not be reflected in close-to-close observations. This dynamic rebalancing feature is designed to achieve optimal performance by adjusting exposure to the underlying asset to achieve the desired level of volatility. In times of high volatility, exposure is reduced to mitigate risk. Conversely, when volatility is low, exposure is increased to target the specified volatility target.
